James Bond actor Sir Sean Connery dies at 90

The first James Bond Sir Sean Connery dies at 90. His son, Jason Connery, said that his father died peacefully in his sleep in the Bahamas, having been “unwell for some time”.

Sean Connery was in smaller theatre and television productions until he got his break with the Bond films. He became a major actor with the success of his Bond role. He played 007 in the seven Bond films: Dr. No (1962), From Russia with Love (1963), Goldfinger (1964), Thunderball (1965), You Only Live Twice (1967), Diamonds Are Forever (1971) and Never Say Never Again (1983).
