Football legend Diego Maradona passes away

Argentinian football legend Diego Maradona has passed away at the age of 60. He was one of the two joint winners of the FIFA Player of the 20th Century award. In his international career with Argentina, Maradona scored 34 goals in 91 appearances and played in four FIFA World Cups. He made his international debut at age 16, against Hungary.


"What sad news. I lost a great friend and the world lost a legend. There is still much to be said, but for now, may God give strength to family members. One day, I hope we can play ball together in the sky." Pele tweeted.
