Tokyo Olympics 2020: Indian weightlifter Mirabai Chanu win the first medal (silver) for India

Indian weightlifter Mirabai Chanu has won a silver medal in the women’s 49kg weightlifting at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. The 26-year-old become the first Indian weightlifter to win a silver medal and second Indian weightlifter after Karnam Malleswari to win an Olympic medal.
Mirabai Chanu managed to lift a total of 202 kg (87kg+115kg).
